As a French-American health coach, I started goodglow, a wellness program which focuses on transforming your lifestyle habits to achieve greater mental and physical health.
Before entering the health industry, I worked in fashion until I realized it wasn’t fulfilling for me. Instead of focusing mainly on our exterior appearance, I understood beauty and self-love had to come from within.
For as long as I can remember I struggled with both, my relationship to food and my relationship to my body. The fashion industry and my self harshness combined certainly didn’t help.
I struggled continually; focusing on food as if it was the problem.
Through the ups and downs, the therapies and experience I gained through it all, I finally came to an understanding that I had to stop looking at what was on my plate. I changed my focus and attention towards what was nourishing me off the plate.
When feeling fulfilled through your hobbies, passions, relationships, career, family, friends…food becomes secondary.
Imprisoned in my controlling world of
« What should I eat ? Am I fat ? Am I skinny ? What shouldn’t I eat ? »
I realized I wasn’t actually controlling any of these things. The obsession and pursuit of what I could take in or not take in wasn’t about the food but everything else that could actually make me feel fulfilled.
After couple years, when I came to understand this whole obsession had overtaken most of my young adult life, I felt this experience and knowledge would be of so much help to others.
After a lot of work and finding that sense of peace, I felt a desire to give back and help others.
I want to provide relief and a sense of freedom, allowing for an escape of the fears and habits that hold us back and take away from our overall well-being.
My wish to helping people and truly help transform their lives lead me to study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC where I completed my health coaching certification.
